Starve Your Husbands Of Sex —fashola's Running Mate

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s running mate in the forthcoming April polls, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, has urged women members of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, to deny their husbands who are members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, sex except they pitch their tent with the ACN.

Orelope, who is also the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA, said this jokingly while addressing the crowd at the ACN campaign rally held at Iberekodo Primary School, Ibeju-Lekki area of the state yesterday.

Her words: “Tell your PDP husbands at home that there is no sex for them henceforth except they switch allegiance to the ACN.
“Beg them, pacify and urge them to come to the ACN. Then they will know that it is the only party that has the interest of the people at heart; the only party that can guarantee them the dividends of democracy and better the future of their children.”

Also speaking at the rally, Governor Babatunde Fashola said that his administration has completed 2000 housing units, which are ready for occupation.
He said that though the documentations for the houses are being processed, when the processing is completed, ”it will be on first come, first served basis.
”We have decided that for whoever is going to be a beneficiary, once you have pointed to the type of your choice, you will only be required to pay only 30 per cent upfront and the installmental payment will be extended to a period of about 15 to 20 years,” said Fashola.
The governor also disclosed that his administration has earmarked some lands meant for housing which is intended to make every Lagosian own a house.
According to him, ”the minimum size of those lands we have earmarked in each of the places we have in mind is 300 hectares, while the maximum is 4000 hectares.”

Assuring the crowd, he said: ”I can assure you that very soon, accommodation problem will become a thing of the past in Lagos. I want you to hold me accountable if this promise did not materialise.

“We’ll ensure that we make it a first come, first servde issue so that nobody will feel cheated.”
Speaking on the Lekki Free Trade Zone project, Fashola pointed out that the design for the new airport is ready and work is going on to determine the soil texture, so as to know the type of foundation that will befit the proposed airport.
He also explained that FTZ, which will be the largest in Africa will house a new sea port and a refinery, adding that plans have also been concluded to bring in electricity into the area, so that power can be generated from Free Trade Zone.
He, however, assured the people that the 2011 budget will bring in more infrastructure development as seven roads have been earmarked for construction in Ibeju-Lekki.
